World Whiskies Awards America 2025: Winners Announced

The 2025 World Whiskies Awards have revealed their American category winners, including the Icons of Whisky America and a new member of the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame. The prestigious awards were held at The Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, celebrating the finest in U.S. whiskey.

This year's results highlight the best American whiskeys in various categories, including bourbon, Tennessee whiskey, and more.

Icons of Whisky America Honorees:

• Communicator of the Year: Koray Kaan Özdemir (Whisky Monster)

• Independent Bottler of the Year: Single Cask Nation

• Distiller of the Year: Bardstown Bourbon Company

Additionally, the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame welcomed its newest member, Marlene Holmes, master distiller at Milam & Greene Whiskey.

Winners from the American categories will now move on to compete for the title of World’s Best in their respective categories. The global results will be announced at the World Whiskies Awards 2025 Global Dinner in March. The Scotland and Rest of World winners have already been disclosed, and Ireland's winners will be revealed at a ceremony later this month.
